it was a old temple in kumbakonam, i guess. Why is there a buddha statue in hindu temple, i never asked such questions. I see somthing i am at it. My guess is, when in kindoms, buddhism is considered more as ideology then religion. When a king takes liking to it, it was accepted by people and Temples are built in that favour. i could be wrong, leave a comment if you know the context. Sculpture was lets just say realistic, less semetry. I am happy to capture full body and surrounding elements.
