on special occasions, nandis are decorated with turmeric. this is from the same village where i spent most of my life in. first time i stepped into the temple was Shiva ratri.

you wouldn’t miss out on general idea from any one of the nandis. the design probably didn’t change in centuries. Some are more calm and lively then others. Obviously this wouldn’t be the first design they made, I want to bump into the models that lead to this. that would be rare ik.
