This lion resembling creature is called yali apparently, people sculpt all kinds of this shooting out of its mouth. poor thing, as of now, I lack and knowledge on the significance of this creature in architecture or mythology.
This particular piece is wood, colored and cute. you often find this relatively enormous. animals often depicted realistic in architecture, except for 3 or 4. this and a 4 leg creature with a women’s face. funny.
They might just be a tradition or not.
